David Foxover

Middle School Head of Department (Years 4-6)

With a Bachelor of Arts (Humanities) and a Post Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary), David has been a part of the Western Cape College Team since 2006, first as a Year 1 teacher and then as a Year 7 teacher before becoming Head of Department in Term 3, 2008.

As Head of Department for Years 4-6 David’s responsibility is to ensure the successful delivery of the ‘Bound for Success’ Curriculum as well as promoting positive behaviour, increasing attendance, supporting the teaching and support team and fostering a strong relationship with the community.

With a motto of “Be the best that you can be” David’s main goal as Head of Department is to ensure every one of the students in the Yr 4-6 has the opportunity to demonstrate positive learning outcomes, particularly focussing on achieving positive results in the area of attendance and educational performance.
