 Micro-skills for Managing Student Behaviour

The 'Micro-skills for Managing Student Behaviour' are a compliment of strategies teachers can use to manage student behaviour, in a way that is condusive to creating a positive, supportive and safe classroom environment.

Mapoon Campus is a 'Profiling School', and teaching staff are regularly profiled to provide them with 'snapshots' of the ways in which they utilise these strategies.

 Bound for Success

Mapoon Campus is proudly one of many Bound for Success Schools across the Cape and Torres Strait. The Bound for Success Curriculum and the Queensland Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Framework (QCARF) exist in conjunction to provide a strong structure for curriculum, outcomes, assessment, monitoring and reporting in our schools. These initiatives were developed after a number of actions were identified for improving educational outcomes for students living Cape York and in the Torres Strait.
